Our Story
Dulceria was born in 2022 out of a simple idea: that vegan chocolate can be just as indulgent, creative, and high-quality as any traditional praline.
What started during the pandemic as a self-taught passion project has grown into an award-winning chocolate atelier in Vienna. With a special authorization from the Landesinnung der Konditoren, we were able to create and sell our chocolates despite not holding a formal confectionery title.
Today, Dulceria Chocolates is run by a team of two—my partner and I—dedicated to handcrafting every single piece with care, passion, and creativity. Our chocolates are 100% plant-based, kosher & halal certified, and created with a strong commitment to sustainability:
We source our cocoa through the Cocoa Horizons Foundation, supporting ethical farming and better livelihoods.
Our packaging is fully recyclable, helping us reduce our environmental footprint.
In just a short time, Dulceria has been honored with multiple awards,including the PETA Vegan Food Award 2024 and Gold at the German Chocolate Awards and featured on TV and in national magazines.
